Four English transferware platters: Two Johnson Brothers "Friendly Village" with polychrome accents and "Home for Historic America" in blue, largest: 20" l.; oval platter with scalloped rim by John Maddock and Sons, gilt accents to blue floral motif border, marked verso, 19" l.; and a "Creswell" pattern oblong platter by J. & G. Meakin, Hanley, brown on white ground, floral medallion and scrolling vine motif, incut corners, 15 7/8" l., all pieces marked on base and with wear consistent with age and use including craquelure of glaze, loss of finish, flakes, scratches, etc. [PROVENANCE: Collection of Edith Whitman Interiors]
