CLOCK: Seth Thomas Pillar & Scroll Clock, American, c. 1824, case with scroll crest topped with three brass urn shaped finials, two tapered columns to sides, scrolling skirt flanked by shaped feet, white painted face with pink floral design at center and gold-colored decoration to spandrels, black Roman numerals, reverse painted lower tablet of large country home bordered by black and gilt leaf design, glazed door with inlaid ivory escutcheon, condition: original backboard with label detached from case, original hands, untouched dial with good paint, bottom tablet is original with moderate repair to sky area, scrolling crest with replaced tips as well as top sides returns, entire bottom skirt and feet are replacements, movement is original but will require work to properly restore, finials may be early replacements, one pully is replaced, tin plate cover is missing over movement, 30 1/2" h.
