Michiel Theobald Gloeckner (German-American, 1915-1989) three lithographs all dated 1974, depicting bright geometric compositions, and pencil signed, the first with hourglass form at center, ed. 91/100, 20" h. x 18" w.; second with rectilinear forms, ed. 123/125, 26 1/2" h. x 19 1/2" w.; last with tear drop like form within slanting planes, 67/110, 20 1/2" h. x 16 1/2" w. all with expected light wear including minor creasing at corners, [Gloeckner was born in Dresden, Germany but moved to NY after WWII. The artist had a home and studio in West Cornwall, CT. He studied painting under Otto Dix (German, 1891-1969) and was also influenced by Paul Klee (Swiss-German, 1879-1940). Michiel Gloeckner exhibited works in Dresden, Munich, Berlin, Geneva, Paris, Manhattan, Philadelphia, and Hartford.]
