Curriculum Vita
Elizabeth Blakelock serves as the Appraisal and Research Associate for Winter Associates, working closely with Linda Stamm on estate and insurance appraisals. She has worked in the museum field for thirty years. She worked in the Curatorial Department of the Connecticut Historical Society where she curated exhibitions on quilts and antique toys, and she compiled a Bibliography of the African American collections at CHS. She was the Exhibition Coordinator at the Mark Twain House in Hartford, Connecticut for the new Orientation Gallery in the Visitors’ Center designed by Robert Stern.
She worked as a Research Assistant on the Maurice and Charles Prendergast Systematic Catalog at the Williams College Museum of Art, at the University of Maine Art Collection in Orono, Maine and for the IBM Gallery of Science and Art in New York City.
Elizabeth Blakelock is a graduate of Middlebury College and she holds a Master’s degree from the Williams College Graduate Program in the History of Art at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts. She has served on the Museum Committee of the Noah Webster House in West Hartford, Connecticut and as the Coordinator of the Cultural Council in West Hartford, Connecticut.
