1860 Abraham Lincoln & Hannibal Hamlin Presidential Campaign ferrotype or tintype, double sided, brass frame with double-sided images of candidates including youthful and beardless Lincoln (a copy of an 1858 ambrotype portrait probably taken by Roderick M. Cole, of Peoria, Illinois), each with printed name on tintype, historically important as the first time photography was used in a presidential election, some loss and damages to images mostly at edge, scratch to Hamlin side, small dents to frame, pierced at top for use as pendant for ribbon badge, sold as found, overall: 1" diam.

Shipping and handling after the auction is available. Automobilia Auctions will remove all purchases from Winter Associates and bring them to their Rocky Hill, CT warehouse after the sale.
