Continental porcelain veilleuses, five pieces: first, white field, gilt "N" surrounded by laurel wreath, grasshoppers, and stars, cylindrical pedestal, unknown maker's name inscribed underside, boat shaped godet, and covered tea pot, 8 1/2" h.; second with white ground, oval medallion partially inscribed "Ile Sainte-Hélène, 3 mai 1821" showing rocky island of Napoleon's exile, beaded trim, cylindrical form pedestal, covered tea pot with griffin spout, chip to rim, and circular godet tray, 8 3/8" h.; third, white ground, pink and green floral decoration, vase form pedestal, godet stamped "HBSC Choisy" underside, tea pot with chipped lid rim, 10 1/2" h.; fourth, white ground, floral and gilt decoration, hollow cylindrical pedestal, circular godet tray, and covered tea pot, tiny chip interior rim, 9 1/4" h.; and fifth, white ground, gilt accents, square, double-handled pedestal, boat shaped godet, covered tea pot with fleur-de-lys finial, 11 1/2" h., gilt loss throughout.
