Dutch embroidered linen sampler composed of repeating lines of the alphabet in multicolored thread, pierced trim along edges, also representations of stylized buildings, trees, flowers, animals, and people, initialed "I.E." four times along bottom edge, dated "Anno 1728" LL and LR, some fading, staining concentrated mostly center, several small tears, framed behind glass, not examined out of frame, ss: 15 7/8" h. x 28 1/8" w.
