19th C. ladies accessories, three pieces, including: pleated cloth fan, cherry red, pulls out from container, some wrinkled and folded edges, "AC 39" inscribed in pencil verso, 14 1/2" l. fully extended; bone or ivory fan, pierced, hand-painted purple iris, paint loss, some detached ribs, contained in lace mesh bag with draw string, 10 1/4" fully extended; along with post-Civil War black velvet cap, pink flowers and leaves, some crushed, 8" l.; all items purportedly belonged to Margaret Bruden Vanderhoof (American, 1835 - 1938); provenance information available to successful bidder.
