Hand painted Dutch ceramics, two plates and three tiles, including: two Royal Delft tiles commemorating the end of WW2, with the titles "Voedsel Vrede Vrijheid (Food Drops Freedom Peace)" and "Nederland Zal Herruzen (Netherlands shall rise)", the first depicting a woman and child waving to Allied planes flying over a village and fields, the second of a snow covered Dutch town, with the Netherlands coat of arms depicted as a rising sun, each: 8" x 6"; Royal Delft commemorative plate, in honor of the 25 year reign of Queen Wilhelmina (r. 1898-1923), polychrome design with tree at center, craquelure to glaze, 7" diam; Royal Delft tile depicting floral Holland scene, windmill in distance, 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"; Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland plate, c. 1930, commemorative plate monogrammed "IJB" with the date 8 September 1930, 9" diam.; all with marks at back, wear consistent with age.
