Alan Tompkins (American, 1907-2007), six works of art, probably studies depicting various subject matter, various media including pastel and charcoal, several signed, two on canvas, four on artist''s board, expected wear throughout, largest 24" h. x 20" w. [Alan Tompkins was a graduate of Columbia University and Yale University. His teaching career included positions at the Herron Art School, Cooper Union, and Columbia. He then became the director of the Hartford Art School in 1957 and played a role in its merge with Hillyer College and the Hartt School of Music.]
