Alexander Stanesby (British 1832-1918), a pair of framed gouache on paper still lives, 1904, both signed and dated in red in lower margin: one with blue and white vase at center surrounded by stone fruit, grapes and berries, on table with carved edge, slightly slipped in frame, craquelure with loss, framed behind glass, ss: 14" x 18"; and a second still life with pineapple at center flanked by two red bowls filled with fruit, matching table with carved edge, framed without glass, craquelure with loss, ss: 14" x 18", both pieces with damages to gilt and molded frames.
