American tall case clock, c. 1810-1820, unsigned, works date c. 1790-1800, possibly New Hampshire case of indeterminate wood, probable marriage between dial plate and case and/or hood, hood with pierced crest with three bulb-shaped finials, slightly concave metal boss with hand-painted marine scene, uncommon three-masted rocking ship flying American flag, touch-up to Arabic numerals, hands appear original , paint loss, surface scratches, and restoration to original dial plate, raised beaded spandrels with paterae decoration, calendar, seconds dial, hour hand slightly crooked, replaced cables, one cable running through drilled dime resting against original seat board, shaped skirt and bottom part of bracket feet restored, two period painted tin weights and pendulum, rectangular base split down front left side, wormage, checking, Ron Johnson worked on movement c. 1999, Jeffrey Arnstein refinished and worked on case door, approximately 90" h.
