Description:

ASIAN, carved 19th/20th C. Chinese soapstone decorative arts, eight pieces: two three-holes vases, first triangular wedge shaped vase with central multi-lobed well, 5 5/8" x 10 1/2" w. x 5 1/2" d., second depicting phoenix roosting among three pots; two single-hole vases including one raised on burgundy-colored pedestal, 9 3/4" h., smaller one 7 3/8" h.; half-human half-serpent deity figurine on partially damaged fish head pedestal, repaired, 7 3/8" h.; seated Buddha figurine attached to inside of upside down lacquered stand via hardened wax mount, several flakes; pedestal; and tiny cylindrical vase decorated with three monkeys concealing eyes and mouths, inscribed "China" underside, expected surface wear throughout.
