ASIAN: Eight unframed Japanese woodblock prints including an "Ancient Customs of Japan" portfolio, details include: "Ancient Customs of Japan" portfolio of four woodblock prints, originated by Kin-u, published by Uchida Woodblock Printer, Kyoto, Japan, c. 1950, paper lable to mat portfolio interior, top detached, prints include: Kemari, "A Game of Foot Ball", costume in 8 - 12th C.; Imachi Zuki, "Waiting the Full Moon", costume in 18th C.; Choyo "A Chrysanthemum Festival", costume in the 18th C.; and Kotakagari "Hunting Hawke", costume in the 12th - 15th C., one with missing corner, some creases; along with four other prints, one of woman kneeling; one of landscape with figures crossing bridge; one watercolor type of waterside landscape; and one reproduction of "The Great Wave off Kanagawa", all pieces with wear consistent with age and use, one with missing corner, sold as found.
