ASIAN: Five Japanese scrolls, details include: pictorial mounted Japanese Daimyo procession hand scroll, appears to be Edo period (1615–1868), original paper sheets torn with soiling throughout, overall: 12" h. x approximately 40+ feet long; scroll with text and landscape painting, mountain waterfall, black and white, characters written on opposite side of scroll with chop mark, oa: 88" l.; hand-painted polychrome geisha, oa: 46" l.; pair of scrolls with hand-painted rural agricultural scenes, mostly black and white with some faded or subtle coloring, note inside of scroll box attributes them to Koni Koi, both oa: 48" l.; four of five scrolls with fitted wooden box, wear consistent with age and decorative use. [PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Robert Wilson of Washington D.C. who resided in Japan in the 1950's.]
