ASIAN: Pair of Rose Mandarin urns, Chinese, 19th C., mounted with later cast metal bases, used as cache pots due to missing lids, tapered rectangular form with flared rim, gilded leaf form flanking handles, figural decoration to all sides and border, wear consistent with age including rubbing of enamels, small nicks to rim, faint hairline to one corner foot, drilled at center, missing lids, etc., metal base, 8" h., mounted on 19th C. French style metal base with remnants of gilded finish, features grape clusters at incut corners, nicely molded sides, beaded border and raised on four flattened ball feet, no marks viewed, loss of finish, one urn loose on base, all pieces sold as is, overall: 10 5/8" h. x 8 1/2" w. (handle to handle) x 7 1/4" d.
