ASIAN: Six Japanese woodblock prints, all loose, some matted: three by Kuniyoshi: first depicting lord under paper umbrella leading procession, second depicting two women in boat pulled by rower while observing paper slips falling from sky, and third depicting split narrative genre scene where snake threatens women in kimono on top and man gets pulled by the hair in bottom, both hinged at tops and matted behind plastic; fourth attributed to Kuniyoshi depicting two samurai wielding swords above heads, two pink seals, laid down on gilt metallic paper and stock, loss to edges; fifth by Hiroshige, c. 1843-1845, depicting battle scene and falling man with stick; and sixth stylized depiction of roofs surfacing above flood waters, calligraphy and black seal along right margin, ss: 5 3/4" h. x 3 7/8" w., expected wear throughout including darkening and minor loss to edges or mats.
