ASIAN: Three Japanese woodblock prints: first depicts an Utagawa Kunisada II (aka Toyokuni IV, aka Kunimasa III, Japanese, 1823-1880) color woodblock print, "Kagaribi," number 27 from the series "Lady Murasaki's Genji Cards" (Murasaki Shikibu Genji karuta), published in 1857 by Tsutaya Kichizo (Koeido), a later (still 19th C.) impression with some block wear, artist's signature "Baichoro Kunisada ga" in toshidama cartouches, circular collector's seals, double matted and framed under glass; second an excised ehon (illustrated book) page with a monkey on a persimmon tree, unread artist's signature and seal lower right; and third a print depicting a riverboat with wood, each matted and framed under glass, none examined out of frame.
