ASIAN: Toshusai Sharaku, Utamaro Kitagawa, Katsushika Hokusai, etc., thirteen unframed 20th C. reproductions of early Japanese woodblock prints: Six by Toshusai Sharaku featuring kabuki actors, hinged to mat, trimmed margins, each approximately: 12 1/2" h. x 8 1/4" w.; "Hanazuma and Tsukioka of the Hyogoya", "Reading a letter under the mosquito net" and "Hour of the Snake" by Utamaro, Kitagawa (1750 - 1806), cut down, loss; "Ushibori in Hitachi Province" and "Fine Wind, Clear Morning" by Katsushika Hokusai, trimmed, loss; and two others including a mechanical print of actor after Sharaku, all pieces with wear consistent with age and unframed storage including toning, staining, loss, etc., sold as found.
