ASIAN, twenty ceramics including Kutani 15-pc tea service and white and orange palette pottery: 15-pc Japanese lithophane tea service, c. 1950s, featuring hand-painted and applied dragon bas relief: teapot, creamer, and sugar with semi-sculptural dragons, snake head spouts and finials, and scaly tail handles: tea pot, hairline underside base, 7 3/8" h.; creamer; double-handled sugar; four teacups, each with lithophane depicting female head at bottom of cup, one with serious repairs; four saucers; and four dessert plates, 7 1/4" dia., most stamped "Kutani, NS, Hand-painted, China"; along with 19th/20th C. assorted white and orange palette pottery, five pieces: octagonal covered vase depicting running and equestrian figures, chop mark underside base, 7 7/8" h.; covered jar on tripod base with kneeling figure finial and foo lion liner, impressed character underside cover, paper label affixed underside base, 7 3/4" h.; and three diminutive covered ginger jars in graduated size, two white-ground, one with vermillion and gilt trim, medium-sized jar has liner with damaged handles, taller jar also has liner, expected surface wear including crazing and scattered gilt loss throughout.
