ASIAN: two 19th C. Japanese woodblock triptychs: Utagawa School triptych depicting figures in variety of modern and traditional dress crossing bridge, cherry blossom trees, river, and architectural structures in background, separating of panels, wavering of paper, paper slipping, areas of discoloration and wrinkling along upper margin, ss: 14 1/4" h. x 28" w.; along with Toyohara Kunichika (Japanese, 1835-1900), depicting elegantly dressed ladies carrying cylindrical fireworks, with grimacing dragon puppet in background, some wavering of paper, minor tears and abrasions, separation of triptych panels, ivory silk mat, ss: 13 1/2" h. x 27 1/2" w., both matted and framed behind glass, neither examined out of frames.
