ASIAN: Two woodblock prints after Utagawa Hiroshige (Japan 1797-1858) the first "Kambara, Night Snow", originally published c. 1833, from the series "Fifty-three stations of the Tokaido- Hoeido edition", depicts three figures dredging through snow toward rows of domiciles, artist seal lower left, ss: 7" h. x 11" w.; along with "Asakusa Kinryuzan Temple - Meisho Edo Hyakkei" (One Hundred Famous Views of Edo) originally published in 1857, figures walk on snow covered road, temple beyond, with lantern top right corner, ss: 11" h. x 7"w.; both early 20th C. editions, matted, hinged, unframed, wear consistent with age.
