Assorted 19th C. cast-iron safe form still banks, some J.E. Stevens, seven pieces: Three J.E. Stevens, Cromwell, CT. safes including two "Treasure Safe(s)," each 5" h. x 3 3/4" w. x 3 1/4" d., and a "Burglar Proof House Safe," 6" h. x 4 3/4" w. x 4" d., all three with key and combination locks, keys not included, "Burglar Proof…" with detached pieces to locking mechanism (included), all with "Aug. 17 1897" patent dates; "Czar Safe," 3 1/2" h. x 2 1/2" w. x 2 1/2" d., and "Safe Deposit," 4 1/4" h. x 3" w. x 2 1/2" d., both with combination locks, "Safe Deposit" with patent date of "Aug. 24 1897;" along with two key locking safes, both pierced, one scroll decoration the other geometric and broken back leg, one with "Mar. 31, (18)91" patent date, the other with "June 6, 1896," both measure approximately 3 1/2" h. x 2 1/2" w. x 2 1/4" d., all pieces with expected surface wear including loss and wear to finish, scratching and rust.
