Connecticut, c. 1830's shelf clock; time and strike, later 8-day brass movement, non-matching replaced hands, original painted dial (some wear to paint); replaced lower tablet is a decalcomanic tablet titled "Residence of Ithial Town, Esq. New Haven", (some loss to tablet) shaped crest turned half columns with gilt highlights, paw feet.
