[HISTORICAL NOTE: Julia Smith, a suffragette and native of Glastonbury, Connecticut, was the first woman to complete the translation, spending eight years doing so, and not publishing her work for another twenty-one years.] [EXHIBITED: Loaned for exhibition to Smithsonian Institute, National Museum of American History for their "1876: A Centennial Exhibition", which ran from 1985 to 1990, letters of correspondence and loan agreements, etc. available to the successful bidder.]
