Burr Sisters, three framed drawings, including: "Doctoring Chickens", c. 1880, attributed to Jennie M. Burr (Connecticut, 1872 - 1961), depicts girl holding chicken by neck and foot while little boy feeds it spoonful of medicine, other fowl at their feet, picket fence in background, attached note verso of photocopy of signature under framing, some areas of discoloration, ss: 6 3/4" h. x 8 1/4" w.; second a drawing of arched stone doorway, c. 1872, attributed to Fannie Burr (Connecticut, 1858 - 1931), light foxing, ss: 6 1/2" h. x 4 1/2" w.; and last a rendering of a spinning wheel, c. 1872, attributed to Fannie Burr, mat burn and light foxing, ss: 6 1/2" h. x 4 1/2" w., all pieces framed and matted behind glass, none examined out of frame, all with wear consistent with age. [VERBAL PROVENANCE: Works were inherited from the Burr sisters to Julian Eddy in 1962. Julian Eddy sold the collection in part to the consigner in 1990.
