Description:

Carved ivory and bone, nine pieces, animal and Inuit themed, 19th - 20th C.: crocodile with open mouth, chipped teeth, 7 1/4"; seated frog, large check, 2" l.; seal, loss to appendages, 4 1/4" l.; whale plaque, signed "C.F. Saye", 2 1/2" l.; Inuit figure, repairs, missing base and spear, 2 1/4" h.; pierced bone tool, as found, 7" l.; bone dagger, 7" l.; and two teeth, larger 4 1/4" l., smaller pierced and with checking, 3" l., all pieces with expected wear including scratches, small discolorations and minor checking.
