Charles Ernest Pont (American, 1898-1971) six woodcuts and wood engravings including: two impressions of "Bending the fore Top m'st Stays'/", a figure with hat and pipe working on a boats rigging, the first impression on thin Japan, titled and numbered "15/50" lower left and signed in pencil and dated "1931" lower right, glue stains at corners; the second on thick wove paper, pencil signed lower right, numbered "16/100" lower left, some soiling, image sizes 8 3/4" h. x 6 7/8" w.; two impressions of "Alan Villiers' Joseph Conrad", a three-masted vessel, both titled lower left, the first numbered "1/100" and signed lower right in pencil (paper loss/tape remnants at top corners), the second inscribed "Charles E. Pont per JD Pont" lower right (minor foxing) both on watermarked paper "BFK", 6 5/8" h. x 8 7/8" w.; and two impressions of "Charlie Miller, Sailmaker" aka "The Sailmaker", the first titled, signed and numbered "7/50" in pencil, the second unnumbered and inscribed "Charles E.
