Charles Ernest Pont (American, 1898-1971), Two watercolors, the first an image of a sail boat being constructed, signed LL, the second "In Need of Repair" an image of a small boat in front of a derelict boat house, both matted, some mildew, both pieces 27" h. x 30 1/2' w. ; along with marine themed woodcuts, wood engravings, and lithographs including: "Hauling Her In"; "Splicing a Dawn Haul"; "Splicing"; "Charlie the Bos'n"; "Ship Ben F. Packard "; "Felix Count Luckner"; "Monitor and Merrimac"; six impressions of "Sir Thomas Lipton" (two different states--colored and black and white); etc. each pencil signed lower right, most from small editions, one matted; along with a generous sampling of unsigned marine themed lithographs, wood engravings, woodcuts, and etchings, each inscribed by the artist's daughter "Charles E. Pont per JD Pont", conditions vary foxing, toning, some small tears, small stains, and creases throughout lot, image sizes from 9" h. x 6 1/4" w. to 18" h. x 13 1/2" w.
