Chippendale chest of three drawers, late 18th C., Connecticut, Hartford County, cherry and pine, with serpentine front top with handsome under edge molding, splayed ogee feet with quadrant base attachment, fluted quarter columns, pencil inscriptions on base interior appear to be "Bottom" and possible date, each drawer with lock mechanism, replaced back boards, two board top with one back possibly replaced, replaced brasses, other minor repairs and wear, see Kugelman Connecticut Vallery Furniture, 33 1/2" h. x 45" w. x 21 1/2" d.
