CLOCK: Tall clock, 19th C., probably New Hampshire, birch case, unsigned painted white dial with floral decoration, 8 day brass movement with arch cutout plates, tin can weights, brass faced pendulum, bonnet with broken arch cove molded crest, carved pinwheel rosettes, three urn shaped brass finials on square plinths, round columns with brass capitals, keystone side windows, resting on deep cove molding over waist with rectangular door over deep cove molding above base over bracket feet; dealer label taped to door states "made by Jedidiah Johnson, Newington, New Hampshire…early 19th century.", old brown finish, original dovetailed bottom board split with extra nails, original feet, possible glue blocks not present, no markings on dial, wear consistent with age and use including alligatoring to finish, wear, rubbing and scratches to finish, checking, etc., works not tested or guaranteed, sold as is, 84" h. at top of finial.
