Early 19th C. sampler by Anna W. Bisbing, dated 1829, cross-stitched silk on linen, features an alphabet in four rows followed by numbers 1 through 8, at the center bottom is a basket of flowers, and "Anna W. Bisbing's Work July 26 1829", simple border of dots surrounds the design, flowers on the right side of basket are unfinished, revealing the penciled outline of the motifs, within a glazed frame, condition consistent with age and use including toning and fading, loose in frame, etc., sold as found, frame: 12 1/2" h. x 14" w., ss: 11" h. x 14" w.
