Early 19th C. sampler, colored thread on linen, nine alpha-numeric rows featuring cross stitch and other techniques contained within outline of house, signed "Jemima Rogers, her Sampler" and dated "1802", name of possible instructor "Miss Lucinda Smith" also appears near frieze of embroidered trees near front door, isolated stains, fading particularly of light thread-colored row at center, some small breaks in fabric, checking to frame, framed behind glass, not examined out of frame, ss: 11 3/8" h. x 10 1/2" w.
