Early 19th C. Spode English soft paste tea service, thirty-one pieces, most from pattern 498 introduced in 1803 except for one saucer, Imari palette, consisting of one large teapot (10" l.) with dish, one smaller teapot, sugar, creamer, one bowl (6 1/8" diam.), one plate (8 1/8" diam.), nine teacups, nine coffee cups, six saucers, and one saucer from pattern 1495, large teapot with Spode mark c. 1770-1833, all with wear consistent with age and use, including scattered minor rubbing of gilt and paint, craquelure and hairlines.
