French Barbotine Figural Pitcher, "Belgium Soldier, No. 752", by Onnaing, France, c. 1880, depicts Belgium army soldier seated on barrel asking for reduction of military periods, glazed in rich tones of green, red and beige, stamped on base with maker's mark and "752", wear consistent with age and decorative use, flea bites/ scattered small roughness to edge of cap, 10 3/4" h.
