Early Continental School oil on canvas depicting two men in Renaissance costume with musical instruments seated at table strewn with open books, no visible signature, early paper label pen inscribed "No. 90" along top stretcher and indistinct pencil inscription along bottom stretcher verso, overall severe craquelure, warping around stretchers, tack holes visible along right side, needs cleaning, frame with corner damage, not examined out of 19th C. gilt frame, ss: 13 1/2" h. x 15 3/4" w.
