Edison Dictating Machine, Model E, c. 1910, serial number 42217, enamel case with gilt decoration and company name at front, chrome stretch cord with speaking tube, company plaque found top of base under rotating apparatus, expected surface wear including broken rubber casing to electrical cord, 11 3/4" h. x 12" w. x 8 1/2" d.; three c. 1929 Dictaphone Permanent Practice Records, #7, #18, and #19 out of series of twenty four, enabling administrative assistants to practice typing/writing between 110-140 words/minute; and nine c. 1940s-1960s Pruco and Nuphonic Dictaphone tubes, seven containing cylinders, expected surface wear throughout.
