Eight Day unsigned tall case clock, case and movement appear to be later vintage, circa 1840- 1860, with all original parts except where noted, and modified for repairs over time, unsigned brass movement, painted white face with both Roman and Arabic numerals, polychrome painted spandrels, 'Osbornes, Birmingham, England' to later dial with globes and moon dial with stamped decoration, hood with arched top and three turned finials, Corinthian columns with brass hardware and shaped glass door, single shaped door to front on simple plinth base, with weights and pendulum, condition includes: broken finial, missing original dial and mat boards, face has been attached to newer mat boards, damages to feet with detached pieces, weights may be unoriginal, moon dial has suffered almost complete loss of paint, checking and damages to joints at plinth base, large check with repair at top of hood, two finials permanently attached, multiple repairs throughout, scratches and wear to case, 85" h. x 16" w. x 10 1/2" d.
