EPHEMERA, five late 19th/early 20th C. maps, atlases, and map-related advertising: 1893 "Topographical Atlas of Connecticut" containing thirty-three atlas sheets, historical society paper label and accession number from 1903 on interior front cover, worn leather binding and corners, as: 21" h. x 17 1/4" w.; "Bird's Eye View of Boston Harbor and South Shore to Provincetown Showing Steamboat Routes", c. 1920, fold-out map in color, Union New Company, Boston, small tear along lower edge of map; "Ready Reference Atlas of the World", © 1908, C.S. Hammond & Co., with specialized maps of Panama Canal as well as "new [U.S.] Island Possessions" including "Porto Rico", water stain along lower edge of front cover, wrinkled edges; map highlighting 1887 state (land and water) boundaries between CT and RI, "Maps Referred to in the Agreement between the State of Connecticut...", numerous regular folds, four tiny holes along fold lines, as: 32 5/8" h. x 26 3/8" w.; and United States Geological Survey informational insert advertising its atlas sheet-specific "Topographic Maps of New England", dated 1 January 1903, folded LR corner.
