Taylor, Notary of Insurance Broker, Union Mutual Insurance Co., who was charged with reviewing the total loss of the ship "Malta" after a storm, report includes summary of incident, findings of ship examiner Caleb M. Spooner, inventory of ship parts sold at port city Fayal to recoup cost of vessel loss, inventory of expenses incurred through liquidating cargo, and other notes, complete tear to middle of front cover, tattering, folded corners, paper loss, isolated stains, and foxing throughout.
