Savage collaborated with Davidson in the installation of the mosaic murals at the Queens County Courthouse (NYC). In addition, there is some evidence that Davidson "may have been a private student or assistant of Professor Savage" while the latter served as William Leffingwell Professor of Painting at Yale University from 1928-1953.]
