Federal bottle case on stand, walnut and yellow pine, (Southern United States), first half of the 19th C.; partial inscriptions appear on exterior back of case and interior of back of stand, flat top case with cock-bead edge molding, the case is dovetailed and compartmentalized into fifteen sections, compartmentalized sections maybe a later replacement, holding thirteen green glass gin or case bottles; the stand has a slide with two brass pulls over a drawer with brass double swan neck bail pulls, square tapered legs; working escutcheon on top with loss and repair to inlay; one hinge on case is missing some screws both appear to have some later screws, several age checks, case 13 3/4" h. x 25 3/4" w. x 14 3/4" d., stand is 28 1/2" h. x 27 3/4" w. x 15 1/4" d., overall height 41".
