Harry Smith, all pencil signed and framed under glass, details include: John Taylor Arms (1887 - 1953), "Sketch, Carcassonne", artist''s proof, depicts a long view across the French fortified city, inscribed in lower margin "[Title]-Proof from Demonstration Plate drawn etched ad printed at Wesleyan University, Oct. 19th & 20th, 1937", some foxing and mat burn, damages to mat, plate size: 6 3/4" h. x 5" w.; second John Taylor Arms, untitled, 1928, depicts triumphal archway of European citadel, staining of mat, 6 3/4" h. x 4" w.; Joseph Pennell (1857 - 1926), "Chancesy Lane", 1881, depicts English street scene with cobblestone road and scattered refuse, signed in pencil and in block, minor foxing, toning, ss: 11 1/2" x 8 1/4" w.; frame size: 17 1/2" h. x 14" w.; and W. Harry Smith (1875 - 1951), "Boston State House", signed in print and block, light mat burn and foxing, damages to mat, ss: 9 1/4" h. x 6 1/4" w., all pieces with wear consistent with age and use which can include waving of paper, foxing, toning, and staining of mat, sold as-is.
