Four bas and high relief wooden carvings: oak wall plaque, bas relief of St. Ambrose (c. 340-397), depicting the early Christian Bishop of Milan in clerical robes and headdress, holding open book in right hand and crozier in left hand, "S. Ambrosius" appears in raised lettering at bottom, minor chip to UL corner, faded back, 21" h. x 11 1/4" w. x 1 3/4" d.; high relief cupid head surrounded by crossed and folded wings, right wing tip repaired, approximately 7" h.; and pair high relief floral swags, isolated checking, 15 1/8" w., all pieces fitted for hanging. [St. Ambrose is the patron saint of bee keepers, and is sometimes recognized by his attribute: the beehive.]
