Four early 19th C. silhouettes: three hollow-cut and one drawn: first a hollow cut gentleman in oval brass frame, facing left, pencil inscription "Cleaver 1827", overall 4 3/4" h. x 4" w.; second a hollow cut of Lady in bonnet in oval brass frame, facing left, inked initials at scalloped bottom edge appear to be "T" "A", pencil inscription verso "1820" and more that is indecipherable, overall 4 3/4" h. x 4" w.; third a hollow cut of woman with bonnet facing left, foxing on white paper in brass oval frame, pencil inscription on wood verso indistinct but appears to include date of 1804, overall 4 3/4" h. x 4" w.; and fourth is a drawn silhouette, inked drawing of buxom, somewhat risqué woman facing left, blind oval stamp lower right reads "Riche's Patent", in oval brass frame, loose in frame, overall 5 3/4" h. x 5" w., all pieces with wear consistent with age including toning, some foxing , loss to frames, etc., all sold as found.
