Mettlach/Villeroy & Boch stoneware and ceramic covered drinking steins: 1/2 L stein decorated with man in slouch hat, part of metal attachment to handle cracked; 1/2 L stein depicting conversation between brewer and king, inscribed "B.C.C. Open Single Blade 1st 1905" along pewter rim, crazing interior; 1/2 L stein with white relief figures and German inscription in two shields, with 1906 presentation inscription for canoe tournament along pewter rim, 6 7/8" h. including handle; and 1/2 L barrel-form stein with maple leaf relief cover, repaired and slightly chipped lid, 1906 presentation inscription along pewter rim, 5 3/4" h. including handle, with expected surface wear throughout.
