British stoneware pitchers with mustard glaze: an unusual British pitcher with two figural scenes, one a rowdy pub depiction, the other with two flying female forms chasing down a man fleeing on horseback, impressed "Published by W. Ridgway & Co., Hanley, Oct. 1, 1835", hairline to base, 9 1/4" h.; "Bacchanalian Dance Rubens Jug", with celebratory mob and grape motif by Charles Meigh (British, ca. 1835-1849), English Registry Mark dated September 30th, 1844, raised decoration, metal lid, hairlines to top of handle, 8 1/2" h; pitcher by E & W Walley,(1856-1859), English Registry marked May 7th, 1859, grape vine motif, elaborate stippled background and branch handle, minor surface wear, hairline to underside of handle, 7 1/4" h.; and a E. Walley pitcher with English hunting scene, English Registry mark dated "May 10th, 1845, metal lid and raised decoration, imperfections of glaze, crack to metal top, 10" h.
