+Four prints by Thomas Willoughby Nason (American, 1889 - 1971), two prints in one frame: "Engraving a Block" 1941, small wood engraving with tools of his trade, initialed in block, ss: 1 1/2" x 2 1/8", and "Self Portrait" 1955, copper engraving of artist smoking his pipe, stylized initials in block, framed and matted behind glass; along with two more prints in one frame: a small block print of Nason's farmhouse and barn in winter, signed in plate, framed with a map of Lyme CT, framed and matted behind glass, 3" h. x 4 1/4" w. and 5 1/2" h. x 4 1/2" w., wear consistent with age, none examined out of frame. [PROVENANCE: receipt of purchase of self portrait and wood block from Child's Gallery in MA in 2009.]
