Description:

Four small prints of primarily African and Asian animals: after William Home Lizars (Scottish, 1788-1859), two colored engravings: Plate 21, "The Nyl-Ghau" [modern day Nilgai], depicting jumping Indian antelope; Plate 6, "Paradoxurus Dubius", depicting small land animal with curling tail, light mat burn; as well as two prints depicting "The Leopard"; and "The Tiger", last two with peeling and cracking veneer frames, scattered foxing throughout, all works framed behind glass, none examined out of frames, approximate ss: 4 5/8" h. x 6 1/2" w.
