French faience, four pieces: hand-decorated Quimper plate depicting man and woman in traditional Breton dress, stamped and inscribed "F. 176 DTRAD QM" underside, area of roughness center, 10 7/8" dia.; hand-painted Quimper butter dish with floral decoration, stamped and inscribed "F39 D240 AB" underside, 7 1/2" l.; along with two decorative plates, one showing the Bastille fortress in 1789, the other depicting the Porte de Saint Denis in 1839, both with heavily distressed/crazed surface, isolated areas of roughness, three large areas of surface loss underside St. Denis plate, both initialed "GB" underside, 9 1/2" dia.
